Battletech Map Program
Hey all, ive been convinced by a friend to give Battle Tech another shot. Ive just pulled some of the bits out of storage and i kind of remembered the maps being a bit better quality graphics than they actually are.
Anyway down to my question. A couple of years back somewhere on the net i saw chaps were making custom high graphics maps. Anyone know where i could possibly aquire these? I know there is a programme to make custom hex maps for BT but ive loked at this and these are definately not the images i saw. Ideally im hoping for various environments deserts, urban etc any help id be very grateful.
Battletech Map Mat
Depends on what edition of Battletech you had. Some of the earlier maps were fairly basic things, but got more detailed with each addition or expansion. I know the maps you speak of but have not seen them in quite a while. One higher detail map I recently came across was this. I assume you have allready seen these map packs? I looked at heavy metal and i have to say that i just was not that impressed with the graphics!

I would love a gaming mat for Classic Battletech that is half wasteland and half ruined city but not found one yet that i would conside good enough art work. Take a look at this vid from mech warrior 3 and you'll see what i mean in regards to battlefield. That other link look cool tho! Is ther more on the site??
